Pretty empty

This is the main street of Van Horn Texas. Like many of the small towns in the south that the interstate bypasses, there are a large number of abandoned or struggling businesses.

This is a well-known Local Food Spot. There must be some interesting history of the John Madden room, so someone figure it out for me. The fish enjoyed watching us eat.

Blue origin launch

A local told us they went to the roof of a building to watch the last blue Origins launch. Evidently the launch site is somewhere between 10 and 25 miles from Van Horn Texas.





Local trivia....  a local told us that part of this movie (no country for old men) was filmed here. I neither confirm nor deny this allegation but it's certainly seems possible.
